After my visit, I honestly thought that this place deserves at least 2 stars, not 1. I've been to 2 Michelin star restaurants before and this was on par, dare I say even better than some of the 2 star ones! Walking into Atlas, you're greeted with such courtesy. It's an experience when you purely get to enjoy being treated like royalty. The waiters were poised and knowledgeable about the food. I also got to talk to the sommelier about wine pairings! We went during Christmas time so the decor was so elegant. Everything in the place just looks like it makes sense. Anyways, moving onto the food. During times like these, I wish I had a bigger stomach so I can eat everything. We started with some appetizers, which was some of the most unique appetizers I've ever seen. My person favorite with the Jammie dodgers. Each dish was quite unique, but I'd have to say the whole bird was just stunning! Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavors just worked so well. Take the hen's egg, for example. When I saw it on the menu, I wondered, how good can you really make an egg. Turns out, Chef Freddy can make a eggs pretty d*** good. I've never had an egg dish that left me lost for words. An indescribable experience! If I'm in Atlanta, I MUST GO TO ATLAS AGAIN! Truly a splurge for myself.

As always, wonderful experience. Beautiful ambiance and outstanding service. We had a dirty martini and lemon drop martini and dessert. Martinis were perfectly crafted. Always an enjoyable experience when staying at the St, Regis.

The food was delicious just not enough , the portions are small. Ambiance was great I can't say enough about the service which was supreme.

10/10! We've done a handful of Michelin stared restaurants and this was up to par! The service was incredible. Our waiter guided us on what we should do, like ordering just one Wagyu and not two. Would highly recommend the Wagyu! It was tender and so delicious. All of the food was impeccable. Every course was amazing. I didn't love that "the whole bird" had the bird head and legs...but that's more a personal thing. My husband had no issue enjoying it! I have a nut allergy and they were very accommodating which I loved. We had a rather large table for just two but with all of the plates it made sense. I will say the bar in front got a little noisy which was a smidge annoying but not awful.

Why did this place only get one star? As someone who has been to quite a few establishments, it feels like Atlas was denied that second star, it's truly that good. Every box was checked here, a thoughtful drink menu. Excellent service. All the bread you can handle (not that you'll need it, I was absolutely stuffed). A gratis birthday cake and of course, the food, which was excellent. We did their 10 course tasting menu and were treated to an amazing amuse bouche... course? I can't describe it any other way as it had 4 items on it! Playful takes on British cookies, and three other little snacks that were the perfect opening and set the tone of Earthiness for the evening. Shout out to the mushroom consume served in a small glass (it was like... clear mushroom soup?) it was there to be the pallet cleanser and honestly it was so much better than the typical "here's something mega fruity" offering. Many courses had either truffle or another form of mushroom infused pour over. The big proteins (Turbot, Squab) were both impeccable and were paired with an assortment of classy root vegetables and included a, some might say, elaborate/slightly off putting head to tail presentation! Our deserts had both a citrus and chocolate offering, which to me always caps off an evening. Service was impeccable, with never an empty glass and always a question if a course wasn't complete. Only complaint, and it's minor, was that the seating was against the wall, so there was a lot of reach overs, this isn't really all that problematic, and they had a very clever way of place setting that allowed them to get cutlery in place in a reasonable order. Overall, a wonderful experience, a bit on the pricey side, but you're honestly getting what you paid for, it's incredible.

Atlas pre fixed menu december 2023 - Variety of high quality ingredients in dishes. Each dish is presented beautifully like artwork. Service was great and it was a great atmosphere. Servers gave explanation of each dish. Prefix experience took about 3 hours.

Here is a Resteraunt with Michelin Star prices but unfortunately not the "goods". While the food many good moments, the staff had many "not so good" moments. At Michelin Star restaurants, the expectations of great food, great staff and a great ambiance must all be present to rate. Here they fell short on two of the three. Some things like a broken foot rail at the bar, servers not following etiquette on serving and clearing of the table, are what we will remember about Atlas. A few of the offerings on the chef tasting menu were notable, and a few not so much. Points do go to the Sommelier as he did recommend some great wines and was very personable. Doubtful we will be going back again.

Came to Atlanta for a weekend from DC and glad we got the chance to try Atlas. We had a great corner table so both of us could watch the dining room as dishes came out. We did the chefs tasting menu - our favorite was the caviar. I was worried because I've only had caviar once and did not enjoy it. This experience changed my mind. The tuna + caviar + squid ink "cracker" and the sauce - not to mention the textures - paired perfectly together. Other standouts included the "pizza" starter - a melt in your mouth sensation with pizza seasoning, and the lobster. By the time we got to the trout, we were very full. Thankfully our dessert stomaches set in and found room to enjoy the FR sundae. The wagyu, for me, was so so. I would have liked it to be cooked a bit more but I imagine that is sacriligious. The meal took three hours so make sure to come when you have time to sit and savor.

Atlas, located in St. Regis, is an upscale, swanky restaurant that has a very popular tasting menu. (They have an a-la-carte menu too but when I looked around, it seemed everyone was doing the tasting menu!) The service was very personal and the food tasted great with great presentation. It's pricy, as expected from anything in St. Regis. We went in October and this was the tasting menu we received: Course 0: Amuse Bouche The amuse bouche here was some small bites provided from the kitchen - a foie gras cookie with jam, some homemade chip with homemade dipping, a soft and crispy cracker with some beet powder salt and a small ball of deliciousness I can't remember exactly what it was. Everything was amazing and made me so excited of what's to come next. Course 1: Kristal Caviar It does seem like if you want a Michelin star, then some form of caviar must be on the menu. I love caviar, so I'm not complaining. This is served with otoro (the under-belly inside the tuna), and ponzu creme. The ponzu creme is in the middle there. The flowers tasted like chocolate. The caviar was below the first flower, and tuna was below the second flower. I'm not sure how I was supposed to eat this whole thing but it was delicious. Course 2: A Waldorf Salad of Sorts This was a deconstructed Waldorf salad, and they poured liquid nitrogen on top to create a beautiful white smoke. Everything in this salad was heavenly and I loved the presentation. Course 3: Squash They called this course Squash, but clearly there's more lobster than squash here, but who's complaining? There was also sea buckthorns in here and some kind of emulsion. Delicious. Course 4: Hen's Egg This course was a hen's egg, served with parsley, morels, and a pastry made with truffles. The two funny looking things towards the back of the photo is the pastry. The hen's egg had the colors of a century egg, sitting in a gravy type of sauce. The inside of the egg was soft. I dipped the bread in the gravy. My mouth is currently watering as I'm typing this because it was SO good. This was one of my favorite dishes of the night. Course 5: Poached Halibut When I first saw the halibut presented in a biscuit shape, I wasn't sure what to think of it, but once I took a stab at it, I realized it was actually very soft and tender. This came with beets three ways - pickled, fresh, and powdered. There was also some finger lime and regular lime in it. I never knew what finger lime was until I started dining at these restaurants recently. They call it the poor man's caviar, and it is so fitting. If you ever get your hands on some finger lime, try it. I loved this course. Course 6: Westholme Wagyu Westholme Wagyu is from Australia and turned out to be the only dish I was disappointed in in the night. The beef was very tender as expected but it was also very fatty. I've enjoyed Wagyu beef from Japan and Georgia and they've never been so greasy. I'm glad this beef wasn't too large because I could barely finish it without feeling nauseous. This was served with pickled watermelon, pickled onion, and a few other condiments. We were instructed to cut up the beef and eat each bite with an accompaniment which did help cut down how greasy the meat was. Cheese Course Now we were presented with an optional cheese course. I don't eat cheese so I was not interested in it. I did enjoy the presentation and the server was very knowledgeable about the cheese that was on display. Course 7: Lime, Vanilla, Pineapple This was our first dessert of the night and it came in a wine glass. This was delicious and not too sweet or too strong of any flavor. I loved the combination of everything in here. Course 8: FM Rocher Similar to a Ferrero Rocher, the FM Rocher is named after the culinary director and chef, Freddie Money. Taste like a Ferrero Rocher with vanilla, hazelnut and chocolate, this was absolutely amazing. When you crack open the ball, the inside spills onto the delicious crunches below, covers them in a chocolate and hazelnut glaze. Very good. Mignardise Last course was an assortment of mignardises such as gummy bears, mini ice cream cone, and some chocolates. We were pretty full at this point and didn't finish all the little candies but what we did try were great! Congratulations to Atlas on earing a Michelin star and I think it's well deserved.
